It is designed to match or exceed the reliability of the bike's standard ignition system, and is foolproof in design such that when the headlamp switch is in the off position, it bypasses the headlamp driver module entirely. This is a crucial hidden benefit- because in the (highly unlikely) event that our added headlamp system has a major fault which leaves the engine's igniton inoperable, the extra section of the circuit we added on is entirely bypassed once the driver module switch is flipped off. Therefore, even the most cautious bike-builders can rest assured that they'll never be left stranded or fiddling with wires- even if the worst case scenario was to happen!
Installation is only slightly more complicated than connecting your regular CDI- it's a minute-or-less task!
